The Digestive Diseases Research Institute (DDRI) of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in addition to providing the best research field on the gastrointestinal diseases, is the first and most reliable provider of gastroenterology fellowship training programs. Five gastroenterology and hepatology fellowships are trained annually in this institute. So far about 130 fellowships have been trained.
